In Eating Styles and Weight Loss: Separating Fads from Facts, you will learn the following:
- How to determine your overeating style
- How to determine your overeating triggers
- How to choose a weight plan than fits your personal style and needs
- Goal setting and prioritization to maximize the success of your weight loss plan
- How to incorporate new healthy eating habits into a permanent lifestyle
You will put your new knowledge into action by:
- Identifying your overeating style and individual triggers
- Exploring compatible weight loss plans
- Preparing a plan for initial weight loss and permanent maintenance through lifestyle changes
Your responsibilities as a student:
When you register for the class, you will receive your worksheets and a link to the course material. You will be expected to complete the steps below:
- Schedule your 30 minute pre-class consultation via phone to discuss your personal objectives and create an initial action plan
- Visit the website to go through the online lessons and complete the appropriate worksheets
- Send your assignments to the instructor for comments and feedback
- Schedule your 30 minute post-class consultation to debrief on your practice exercises and update your plan for use in your everyday life
There is a limit on the number of participants who can start each week. The limit is necessary to ensure that Barb can give each client enough time and individual attention. The total cost of the seminar is $59.95, which must be paid through PayPal via credit card or electronic funds transfer. The cost covers:
- Four modules that each include:

- Three 20-minute telephone consultations to:
- Set goals for the program
- Discuss progress
- Debrief on results
